514) MONUMENT FOR DIPLOMATS MURDERED BY ARMENIANS TO BE ERECTED IN ANKARA

Ankara Municipality Assembly decided to erect a monument in memory of members of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Ministry who had been "martyred" by Armenian terrorist organizations, Anatolia news agency reported on 18 February. . .
The assembly unanimously accepted a report prepared by culture commission to erect the monument.

The report reminds that many diplomats were "martyred" by Armenian terrorist organizations, mainly "Asala".

"Even if it is not enough to pay our debts to the martyrs who died for the national duties they carried out for interests of Turkey, we thought erecting a monument for the martyrs will calm their families and our nation," the report of the Ankara Municipality noted.
