How to Write Articles People Will Read
- Have a specific purpose in mind
- Know your target audience and have someone from the target population critique your article
- Start your post with the most important information with one-sentence introduction, explaining what will you discuss
- Have a clear, concise, correct, compelling and organised flow & structure. Avoid excessive punctuation/formatting
- Ask yourself "so what?" Does your post have a point? As you write after each section, ask yourself "so what?" Does this paragraph have a point, is it helping to tell the story I am trying to sell?
- Have a good/clear conclusion
- Spend more time rewriting than writing & include any reference sources

I read Andrew Bolt's regards the review of Elif Safa;'s novel The Bastard of Istanbul. You see how a novel which is just a story can create so much interest among people who know little or nothing about the tragic events in Eastern Anatolia? What's the answer? Make best sellers out of novels that show another side to the story.It is through stories that a nation's image is created ( Simon Anholt Survey)
