Dear University President Doti,

As you have mentioned in your article on your web site; one of the cornerstones of the intellectual accumulation, is objectivity.

It is also uncontroversial that the objectivity, in the name of scientific ethic, harmonizes with the ratio of accuracy/ validity of the theses that are put forward as the outcomes of researches. Besides, it is evident that the scientific facts become valid and scientific by means of eliminating anti-theses one by one.

From this point of view, it is sad that the issue, which is about the present political reflections of the incidents that were realized in the geography of the Ottoman Empire, was studied in a single-sided way and without hiding its racist dimension from view. Naturally, giving permission to organize this kind of presentation, which has a monolog character, within the structure of a respected university campus, could not comply with the scientific perception.

In this respect, we initially desire the following points to be exposed into daylight at the lecture by R.Hovannisian, which will be delivered on the University campus on September 25th, 2007:

-Why Armenians betrayed to the society, which they co-existed for centuries in 1915?

-How 524.955 Turks, who lived in Anatolia, were killed by the Armenian gangs, which united with Russian units?

-Why had the Armenian terror marked the 1970’s and 1980’s, as a part of the global terrorism?

-Why does the Armenian administration finds it difficult to respond to the insistent demands of Turkey for conducting a research on the incentives of the 1915 incidents by forming a mutual history commission?

-Why the archives of the Tashnaks are closed for the researchers?

-Why no respond could be given against the accusations that were directed at Hovannisian by Samuel A.Weems, the American jurist?
