3554) I Told The Armenians: Let's Dig Your Alleged Mass Graves

"I told the Armenians: Let's dig your alleged mass graves wherever the Turks supposedly committed genocide to you and get the recovered bones forensically analyzed in international laboratories. But they have not yet shown any mass graves since 2003.

Despite all this they alleged at the Swedish parliament that there is a mass grave in Mardin. I insisted on this matter and a member of parliament with Armenian roots from Sweden came here and a Syriac Christian was accompanying him. We went to Mardin . . .

There was a hole at the alleged location but it was raining heavily on that day. I requested the guy to enter the hole he said he wouldn't as his clothes would get dirty. I said i would buy new clothes for him I insisted him to enter, this time he claimed an order was needed from the district attorney. Fortunately we were accompanied by the district Attorney as well as the district Governor, the Attorney authorized permission to enter so we entered together.

Once we were inside I requested for him to collect samples from the bone remains. He refused and he was being difficult. I gathered the samples myself and got them forensically analyzed in international laboratories. The bones turned out to be 2,200 years old. Did we massacre the Armenians 2,200 years ago? We [Turks] were not even in Anatolia then!..

Those were the remains of the mass graves from the Roman [Empire] times. Turks have never committed any genocides at any period in history."
