3651) Morgenthau Shenanigans by Y Atun, S Aya, A Atun

Abstract

The Armenian assertions related to the migration of Armenians living in eastern Anatolia amid the start of First World War, is mainly based on the book titled “Ambassador Morgenthau's Story” written by purported Mr. Henry Morgenthau Sr. The ambassador of USA to Istanbul. In reality, the book was written, edited and composed by Mr. Burton J. Hendricks, the famous journalist, winner of the Pulitzer Prize of the period. He is the unveiled writer behind the curtains. He is the professional writer of this indecisive book and recompensed with an extremely immense lump sum of money from Mr. Morgenthau for his extremely proficient, dedicated and insatiable office. The truth of the matter is that Ambassador Morgenthau administered as a US Ambassador in Istanbul from late November 1913 to early February mid 1916, however never voyaged eastwards even up to Iznikomid (Izmit of today), which situated a mere 90 km east of Kalkedon (Kadiköy of today). His book is completely in light of hearings and cosmetics stories made by the two Armenian US Embassy representatives. No data in this book depends on any official report issued by any neighboring nation to the Ottoman Empire or even the US Senate or Congress. At the point when this book is checked against Mr. Morgenthau's Diary, it can be unmistakably seen by anyone that it incorporates made up stories as opposed to mirroring the genuine events, incidents, recollections and memories. Abstract Subject chapter, Chapter 7 of The Fall of Ottomans, bears no “judicially valid evidences at all”, and is a narration of other people’s narratives or works. It has no chronological consistency or any reasons properly told. These are too many and would require another chapter of verbatim answers which can be documentarily given with ease. The dependable source Taner Akcam (an extreme leftist prison fugitive in 1978, sheltered in Germany for a decade and later transferred to the care of Mr. Dadrian and created as scholar) in all these years has not produced one authentic document, other that “stories or fake evidences”. His salaries at Universities have been paid by rich Armenians. He is doing a “job for the money and support he gets”. The “distorted and definitely undocumented Armenian genocide” propaganda has been brought to such levels of political abuse and travesties of all fundamentals of known principles of law and justice, that writers, speakers and even large bodies such as parliaments and lately CHURCHES are involved with increasing participation. This appears to be movement of exercising and unknowingly defending “die Grosse Luege” or “the Big Lie” as it was coined in the above phrase.

The daily effect of propaganda and ease of politicians to exploit centuries old prejudices, blindfold the presently ongoing world dramas in much larger calamities. If you surf on internet, you can see that the total WW-1 casualties of various countries add up to about 40 millions. Outstanding losses are as follows: Russia, 9 millions; Germany and Austria each 7 millions, France 6 millions, Britain 3 millions, Italy 2 millions, USA about 300.000. All these large losses are rest in the ashes of history, except “Armenian losses of 1,5 million” which you cannot see anywhere in such statistics because they were little compared to warring parties and official war records.

“This Big Lie” is just born and had no time to distort the old historical records. In order to make this cornucopia of irrefutable documents and solid facts as concise as possible, this study will make use of primarily neutral official, international, pro-Armenian publications balancing the information contained in the millions of original Ottoman documents available in open archives. The document or reference given to support the statement MUST BE TREATED AS LEGAL EVIDENCE and given PRIORITY versus personal opinions or apocryphal tales; like the previous ones, it has not been requested or supported by any entity. . .

Having read the Press Release, and later on the “Judgment” of some 130 pages, I thought I’d better share my disappointment with the public regarding the very long, intricate judgment of the Grand Chamber. I discovered too many errors and omissions when the “historical facts” were being referred to. In fact, it was shocking to see that they knew so little and were at times wrongly informed.

For a while, I thought whether I should write a long commentary or perhaps a book, pointing out the factual mistakes in the Judgment, simply because the lawyers and the judges did not know history well enough and no one on the Turkish side corrected them when they had erred. Naturally such a study would take a few months and would challenge the highest authorities of Law in Europe and augment the dislike for plain “truth defenders and their insistence on the truth”. What is more, probably no one would support such a challenge (with the evidence of documents) at this late and final stage. Therefore, this is a short abstract of what can be written on the subject . . .

We have just started to get together and unite in diagnosing this disease… but not yet in treating the disease . . . and no telling when, if any, that will take place.. The reason is actually very simple; everyone looks at the events either from their own specialized angle or imitates the behavior of his/her leader! The lawyers and diplomats see the events and interpret them from the angle of lawyer or diplomat, the historians do the same based on their knowledge and experience. On the other hand, most academicians and writers who change their positions and thoughts on a simple whim only, appear to have in-depth experience on the subject they have not even opened up a book about and write their opinions as they wish without searching out the truth and by using the copies of other writers’ works. Since I am neither of the above professionals, I treat and evaluate these events based on their “first hand real documentary proof”, weigh its possibility based on my own logical criteria and sometimes write them in English if addressing the foreign readership. And when it is so, not too many people would read them or can understand them and none share them with others, hence, not a . . .

3577) REFLECTIONS of the EHCR Ruling on the Perincek vs Switzerland

A Turkish proverb quotes: “Let a fool throw a stone in a well, and forty wise men cannot get it out”. In our case it is the word “genocide” not thrown by a fool but hidden by some smarts screaming “I lost everything because it was taken by genocide… find and give it back to me”. This scream started after 1960s, and it was about the “alleged loss of unknown ancestors” in 1915s. No one asked, why your fathers and grand fathers did not voice this demand when they were alive? No answer. Are crime and punishment hereditary and who is to be punished for what? Do you have any document or neutral eyewitness to confirm what you claim? No! But crying has been so loud and consistently spread out throughout the world that many authorities got fed up with these complaints and said “alright, what do you want us to do so that you shut up and leave us in peace?” Just acknowledge and confirm that genocide has taken place and condemn Turks for this crime! Some states in particular where Armenian lobbies and propaganda is strong, easily fell in this pit of slander . . .

Are you in the habit of believing easily in what you read in books, newspapers, academic publications? We all believed in the “right to destroy Vietnamese because they defended their country”, or removal of Saddam with dummy sketches shown on TV screens by most dependable authorities. The “Reno Evening Gazette” had written as early as November 14, 1915 about Armenian propagandas:

"Ambassador Morgenthau appears to have fallen a ready victim to the smooth rascals that, by apocryphal tales of outrages, have procured contributions from their Armenian countrymen abroad and in this country and have lived in luxury on the proceeds for the last 30 years… . If this country, therefore, does not want to appear foolish before the whole world, it will refuse to be duped by impossible tales and will let the Armenians severely alone." . . .
